Casal Velino is a charming municipality in the Cilento Park, south of the province of Salerno. The entire area is composed of the hamlets of Acquavella, Bivio di Acquavella, Marina di Casal Velino, Vallo Scalo and Verduzio. The capital, Casal Velino, is a small village on a hill with a panoramic view of the Gulf of Velia and the Alento plain. The town, thanks to its central position, allows easy movement along the coast and inland. It is also well connected to the nearby train stations of Ascea and Vallo Scalo.
