We will introduce you the local Lappish way of life, modern reindeer herding habits and vast wilderness. We are located in vicinity of 4 national parks, next to Pallas-Ylläs National Park where we offer backpacking packages. We offer a wide variety of activities to make the most of your stay with us. In the winter you can go skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, or take a reindeer sleigh ride. You can relax in a sauna and experience a cold dip at its finest, in the icy lake, under the northern lights if you’re lucky. In the summer there are hiking trails nearby for all levels as well as lots of fun trails for mountain biking. You can rent a stand up paddle board, canoe or kayak, or swim in the clean lake just a few steps from your cottage or the hostel. We also offer services to make your hiking trip more comfortable. You can enjoy a scenic boat ride to the starting point of the beautiful Hetta-Pallas-trail and/or have your car delivered to your destination. We will gladly help you customize your stay so you can enjoy your time with us as much as possible!
